A downloadable game

This is Meshaing, a combat dice-rolling game without classes using only d6s (and that's 19 pages long).

Meshaing was made for the May Mayhem Jam! by Ethan H. Reynolds and this little game aims to fulfill the idea behind the game jam in the following ways:

1) Mayhem as in "chaos": Meshaing is played near-exclusively by two or more players rolling three six-sided dice each using contested rolls. There are no mechanics like DCs for skill checks or saving throws, or ACs for attack rolls. If a player character (an "Errant") attacks an enemy controlled by the GM (the "Doyen"), then both roll 3d6, add relevant modifiers, and the winner of that contest gets the better outcome!

2) Mayhem as in "maiming": Originally, mayhem as a concept refers to grave injuries. Thus in Meshaing getting injuries (abstracted to be part of a larger DURF-inspired Stress mechanic) is common and a loss of health (Endurance Points) takes a long time to recover.

Anyway, I don't know if I'll ever revisit this game, this was really just an attempt to make a gritty fantasy RPG in a month, but I hope someone will take something positive out of it!

Also I made an effort to make the character sheet form-fillable, so that way it's at least easier to play digitally!

This game will forever remain 100 percent free, not even PWYW.
